Just a reminder per the Village that blowing and/or leaving grass clippings in the road is prohibited by the Village Ordinance.
Not only are grass clippings unsightly, but they are dangerous to motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians. They can also clog storm sewers and waterways, and causegrass to grow in small cracks that eventually break up the street.
If you have a lawn service or other individual helping to maintain your lawn, please notify them of this ordinance.
Municipal citations can be issued.
